Sittingsuits was born on a chilly Danish terrace. Restaurateur Rebecca Johansen, owner of multiple restaurants in Elsinore, Denmark, had spent years serving guests outdoors, while growing increasingly frustrated with wasteful heaters and heaps of blankets that never really did the job.
She teamed up with fashion designer Vibe Johansson to create something completely new. A wearable solution that was warm, functional, and brandable. A suit you could throw on over anything, and still feel like yourself. Together, they tested prototypes in Rebecca’s restaurants and fine-tuned the details until it worked flawlessly.
In 2019, Sittingsuits launched quietly on the cobbled streets of Elsinore. Today, they’re used across Europe by brands who want to elevate the outdoor experience for guests, teams, and communities.
