THE COLLABORATION
Artist Edition #6 is a wearable art collaboration built around two works by Louise Rosendal: FIREBALL and COME ALIVE. Originally developed as scarf prints, both designs emerge from the same artistic universe of digital transformation, imagined identities and highly saturated visual surfaces.
THE ARTIST
Louise Rosendal graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts with an MFA in 2013. Her practice has moved through film, installation, performance and digital print, often examining contemporary identity and the spaces where physical and digital life meet.
Avatars, Japanese anime, cyberpunk, science fiction and digital escapism recur throughout her work. Clothing and transformation are central interests: how an image, character or surface can alter the way a person is seen.
THE ARTWORK
FIREBALL and COME ALIVE combine intense colour with Rosendal’s fascination for CGI, game characters and imagined futures. Across the Sittingsuit surface, the prints become immersive rather than decorative, surrounding the wearer in the visual world from which they emerged.
Artist Edition #6 was produced in two designs, each limited to 200 pieces.
