THE COLLABORATION
DREAMS brings Özlem Thompson’s organic visual world into motion. Forms drawn from nature meet imagined structures, while bold colour shifts the work away from the wall and into outdoor life.
For Artist Edition #3, the original artwork became a Sittingsuit: a functional form carrying its own artistic expression. The result belongs to the wider Sittingsuits idea that art can be lived with, moved in and taken outside.
THE ARTIST
Özlem Thompson’s path to art includes an academic background in biology and botany. Her interest in organic structures continues through her work, where forms from nature are abstracted and brought together with colour, imagination and the subconscious.
THE ARTWORK
The edition carries the visual energy of DREAMS across the full Sittingsuit surface. Organic forms, intense colour and dream-like imagery move with the person wearing it, creating a different encounter with the artwork from every angle.
Artist Edition #3 was produced as an edition of 200 pieces.
